Tell Packet when your members are around, and the posts it makes on a timer wait for those hours instead of pinging people in the middle of the night. Pick your time zone and one or more windows, like weekday evenings or a weekend window that runs past midnight.

Outside your windows, a scheduled message on a repeating interval waits for the next window, and so does a new video or post from a social alert. A going-live alert posts at once, without its ping, since the stream may be over by morning. A birthday message waits for the first window that day, and the birthday role is still given when the day starts. Nothing waits longer than the limit you set (24 hours unless you change it), and a post whose next window is further away than that goes out at once instead.

More posts wait the same way. A forum poll on a repeating interval opens in your next window, and its winner post and follow-up vote wait too. A giveaway's winners post waits, but winners get their prize role and reward message the moment it ends. The post saying a goal boost is over waits, and so do the vote board's thank-you and Packet's own updates. The LFG open-space ping is skipped outside your windows and tries again inside the next one. A game server's up or down notice posts at once, without its ping. Rewards and prizes are never held: only the post waits.

Some posts are never held: a message at a fixed time you picked, moderation, safety and staff alerts, and anything a member asked for, like a reminder. If a fixed time falls outside your windows, the plan tells you before you apply.
