LFG

looking for a group

Browse the guide

Help members find a group to play with. Packet keeps a board in a channel you pick that lists the voice rooms that have space right now, and members can check the same list privately with /lfg. (Configure → LFG.)

A member who wants a group presses 🔎 Looking for a group on the board, and Packet can give them a role while they're looking. The toggle switches itself off after an hour unless you change it. You can also pick a Status tag, like #LFG, that switches it on when a member puts it in their own Discord status. Rooms are grouped by the game a dynamic voice hub is for. Give one game its own board, and it can ping a role when one of its rooms has space, at most once every 15 minutes, with buttons members can press to snooze those pings. What to call a group lets you name the group a room's game lands in, and Tags members can pick offers a short list of tags, like "Ranked" or "New players welcome", that members add to their post, up to three each. Members never type their own text on the board. Off until you turn it on.
