Define your role hierarchy, colors, and per-role permissions. Role bands group roles by purpose and keep them in the right order. There are seven, top to bottom: Bots & integrations, Staff & moderation, Color roles, Activity roles, Functional roles, Members, and @everyone. Packet never moves a bot's role, and @everyone always sits at the bottom. Packet writes channel permission overwrites for you, so private and read-only channels are correct by construction.
