Run a community-engagement loop on a forum: Packet periodically opens a poll of the top posts, announces the winner, and can run a follow-up "should we implement it?" vote. It can also post and pin a first post (rules / how-it-works), archive stale threads, and ping a role when a poll opens. You can write the poll's own question (up to 300 characters) and the follow-up vote's question and message too; leave them blank and Packet uses its own wording. Configure tags, the default reaction, and guidelines per forum. Posts here can use {forum}, and a winner announcement also gets {winner}, {votes} and {link}. When a forum pays its posts, its polls rank by how many different people react, and only reactions given after the rewards were switched on count: ones a post already had are not added in. Staff can approve, deny or finish an idea from /packet home: choose Features, then Idea decisions, and pick the post. (Configure → Forums.)

Untick the first post to stop posting it. Packet keeps its title and text, so ticking it again brings back what you wrote.

Suggestions. Tick Take suggestions on a forum and its posts become ideas with a status. Members post an idea as usual, or with /suggest idea. Staff with Manage Threads set its status in the idea's post with /suggest status (Approved, Denied, Done, or Open to reopen it), with an optional reason that Packet posts there. Pick a moderator-only tag for each status and Packet adds it to the post. A decided idea leaves the forum's poll. /suggest log shows who decided what, and when.
