Auto-delete

Have Packet delete messages in a channel a set time after they are sent, from a few minutes up to 7 days. Good for a bot-commands channel, a looking-for-group channel, or anywhere chatter shouldn't pile up. (Configure → Auto-delete.)

Each channel gets one rule. Choose whose messages go: Everyone, Members only, no bots, or Bots and webhooks only, and narrow it to members holding certain roles if you like. Keep pinned messages is on by default. Tick Throwaway channel to also clear Discord's own notices there, like "pinned a message". Packet's own messages stay unless you tick Also delete Packet's own messages, and even then its boards and panels are never deleted. Never delete messages from spares chosen roles or people in every channel, and Packet can post a short summary of what it deleted.

Auto-delete only touches messages sent after a rule is turned on, never older ones, and never the message a thread started from. It never reads what a message says. If Packet loses the permission it needs in a channel, that channel's rule pauses until it is back.
