Counter channels

Show a live number at the top of your channel list, like "Members: 1,204". A counter is a voice channel whose name is a live number, and nobody can join it. (Configure → Counter channels.)

Pick what it counts: Member count, Booster count, Members at or above a level, Game-server player count from one of your game server boards, Members looking for a group, the House Prize Fund, Active members (who allow activity use), or Members playing a game or app (who allow activity use). The last two leave out bots and anyone who turned off "Use what I'm playing" in /privacy. Write the channel name with {count} where the number goes, and Packet shows it with commas. Pick a category, and a place in it, and Packet keeps the channel there.

Discord lets a channel be renamed only twice in ten minutes, so the number updates at most once every 10 minutes. Turning a counter off pauses it and leaves its channel alone. Removing a counter deletes its channel.
