Protections for your chat that act when nobody on staff is looking. Each one is off until you turn it on, and each says in Configure exactly what Packet reads. Use the recommended protections fills in a sensible set in one press. (Configure → Moderation, under Protections.)
- Scam links blocks known scam and fake Nitro links through Discord's own AutoMod. Packet reads nothing: it only learns that a message was blocked and who sent it.
- Message filters use Discord's AutoMod the same way.
- Flood guard steps in when a member sends too many messages or mentions at once. Packet counts messages, never reads them.
- Automatic slow-mode slows a channel that gets flooded, then lifts it again.
- Spam watch catches the same message posted in several channels. It compares the text in memory and keeps none of it.
- Honeypot channel is a channel nobody should post in. Packet only notes who posts there.
None of them bans, kicks or deletes a member, and none adds a strike. Flood guard and spam watch time a member out for a while, and the honeypot isolates them, each for a day at most. Every one ends on its own, or when a staff member ends it.
