List your server's events in Discord's Events tab without making each one by hand. Set an event up once: a name, when it happens (once on a date, every week on a day, or every month on a date or a day like "the second Tuesday"), and where (a voice or stage channel, or a place written as text). Packet keeps the next one listed in Discord and makes the one after it when it is over. A change you save moves the next one too, unless it has already started.
An event can send a reminder before it starts: a DM to each member who marked it Interested, and a post in a channel that can ping a role. Packet asks Discord who marked it Interested when the reminder goes out and keeps no list of them. Events you make in Discord yourself are never changed, and Packet needs the Manage Events permission.
Sign-ups and teams. Tick Let members sign up and Packet posts a sign-up with Join and Withdraw
buttons. Set a number of places, and once they're taken members join a waitlist that moves up the moment someone
withdraws. Tick Put members in teams to split the sign-ups into teams: Packet can deal the teams when sign-ups
close, or members can pick a team you named. Each team can get nothing, a private thread, or a private thread and a
voice room, and the bracket can be single elimination or a round robin. Members see the teams with /bracket view,
and join or give up their place with /bracket join and /bracket leave. Staff with Manage Events record a win with
/bracket result, move a member with /bracket swap, and cancel or end the teams with /bracket close. Anyone left
over when teams form is a substitute until staff move them in. Team threads are archived and locked when the event
ends, never deleted.
