Birthdays

Let members save their birthday with /birthday set, month and day only, never a year. On the day, Packet posts your birthday message in the channel you pick and can give them a birthday role until the day ends. (Configure → Birthdays.)

The day starts and ends in the time zone you pick (UTC unless you change it), or in the member's own time zone if they saved one on their Packet profile. Write your own message, with {user} for the member, or leave it blank for "Happy birthday, {user}! 🎂". You can also give a birthday gift in your server's own currency, once a year, and an XP boost for the day while the member holds the birthday role. Neither is ever paid in Coins.

Members can also save their birthday once for every server with /me birthday. Profile birthdays chooses whether your server celebrates those too: Both (the default), Off, or Profile birthdays only. Members see their own with /birthday show and remove it with /birthday clear, and only they can see it. A February 29 birthday is celebrated on February 28 in other years. The message waits for your active hours, but the role and the gift arrive as the day starts. Off until you turn it on.
