Let members open private, staff-only help rooms. Post a panel with a button members click
to open a ticket, and Packet creates a private channel and writes the permissions itself, so
a ticket can't leak. In Discord, staff use /ticket inside a ticket to claim it,
close it, or add and remove members, and the member who opened it can close it too.
The full console is the dashboard's Tickets page, with search, filters, replies,
priorities, assigning, tags, internal notes and canned replies, and a cross-server
Tickets hub manages every server you run in one place. Set the
staff roles, an auto-close timer for idle tickets, a satisfaction survey on close, and optional
questions asked before a ticket opens. A panel's opening message can use {ticket} and
{opener}.
Use it when members need somewhere private to ask for help, instead of a public channel, or you want a repeatable way to take reports, applications, or requests.
A worked example. A "Report a player" panel asks two quick questions before the ticket even
opens, who and what happened, pings your Moderator role, and closes itself after 48 hours of
no reply so a forgotten ticket doesn't sit open forever. Closing locks the channel rather
than deleting it by default, so the history stays around and the ticket can be reopened if the
same member comes back, and a short survey asks them to rate the help they got.
Members can also send feedback about a staff member with /staff feedback, or from /packet home: choose
Features, then Staff feedback. Pick the roles that can be rated under Rateable staff. The staff member
is never told who sent it.
